11 years after debuting on the dance music scene in 2013, the Grammy-nominated beatsmith is still ascending to new heights after performing a pair of momentous sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium. The stadium was already pulsating with energy when Trivecta took the stage before dominating the crowd with his visceral, melodic bass. Despite the lingering daylight, his energy and undeniable stage presence were infectious as he played guitar on his “Starfall” remix and created a set filled with a variety of hard-hitting tracks.
Soon enough, ILLENIUM took the stage for the first of their three sets, which together spanned their five-album discography. Featuring beloved tracks like “Where'd U Go” and her remix of Kaskade's “Disarm You,” the nostalgic set focused on her first two albums, ashes and Awake. The highlight was when she brought out SLANDER and Krewella for “Lay it Down” and MAX for “Beautiful Creatures.”

ILLENIUM then quickly returned to the stage for their second set, concentrating on their third album, Ascend, and fourth Grammy-nominated album, Fallen embers. From the dynamic intro, it was evident that it was intended to propel us into the most aggressive segment of the night.
After an epic live guitar performance of Dabin's “Hearts on Fire,” the stadium came to life as ILLENIUM's production of “Trilogy” hit full force. With 360° lasers, pyrotechnic towers and a colossal LED wall, the visual spectacle mesmerized us and enveloped us in a dazzling display of light and sound.
Not only did he play his most iconic songs, like “Blame Myself” and “Gold,” but he also brought out Seven Lions to play a previously unreleased progressive house collaboration. ILLENIUM also released an unreleased collaboration with Rezz.
Bringing the set to a climactic close, ILLENIUM serenaded the crowd with their beloved tracks “Good Things Fall Apart” and outro “Sad Songs,” sending shivers down our collective spines as the crowd sang along in perfect unison.
From there, it was hard to imagine what else ILLENIUM could have in store to close out the night. However, he complied. Joined by a full live band including Annika Wells, Said the Sky, Taylor Dearman, Bonnie Brooks and Nicholas Totton, ILLENIUM put on a masterful performance, showcasing their latest album in impressive fashion.
Not only was it a testament to their years of hard work, but the variety of special guests underscored the deep relationships ILLENIUM has cultivated throughout their musical journey. From Teddy Swims and Alex Gaskarth to Trippie Redd and Sueco, it was abundantly clear that these collaborations were more than just performances: they were manifestations of genuine camaraderie and mutual respect.
Underscoring the transformative power of dance music, ILLENIUM's takeover of SoFi Stadium wasn't just another concert: it was a true showcase of their ability to create an immersive experience for their fans. And when the lights came back on and the crowd dispersed into the night, it was certain that his legacy as a visionary artist and esthete had solidified, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of all who were lucky enough to be part of him.
