After wowing audiences at this year's Coachella festival, the dynamic duo of brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll, known as Orbital, delivered an electrifying performance in Nottingham on April 28.
The evening was a journey through their iconic albums, Green and Brown, presented in full. Divided into two fascinating halves with an intermission, the concert moved from the disturbing and enigmatic aura of Green to the vibrant energy of Brown. Adorned with their signature flashlight glasses, Phil and Paul illuminated the stage amidst minimalist lighting and mesmerizing graphics adorning the backdrop. The event served as a nostalgic celebration of the 90s rave scene and the UK's electronic music heritage.
As the night reached its zenith, Orbital invited the audience to an encore, with songs that were not in their Green either Brown albums, including her legendary Spice Girls remix, “Spicy,” along with the infectious rhythms of her latest track, “Dirty Rat,” with Sleaford Mods.
It was a dazzling conclusion to a night filled with pulsating rhythms and infectious melodies that left the crowd spellbound. Those lucky enough to attend witnessed firsthand Orbital's sonic mastery. Experience the magic through the captivating photographs captured on this unforgettable evening!
