Joe Budden he is unrelenting in his views and observations on events within the culture and his vocal support Russell Simmons adds to this reputation. In a recent episode of his eponymous podcast, Joe Budden referred to Russell Simmons as “awesome” and added that despite the accusations, people will continue to love the mogul.
In episode 705 of The Joe Budden PodcastBudden and his co-hosts discussed a recent picture of Usher with Simmons hanging out in the background after the R&B singer's visit to Bali.
The pod noted that Usher shared knowledge of his visit to Bali after his Super Bowl halftime performance, which likely could have received some much-needed criticism. Parks, one of the co-hosts, pushed back at a point Ice made that no one gives Usher grief because he's universally loved. Parks confirmed that Usher did catch some heat for the image.
This prompted Baden to begin stating that people love Simmons and that no matter how heinous the crimes he is accused of, people will continue to love and support him.
“There's nothing you can do here to make people stop loving Russell Simmons. Not a thing in the world. Nothing in the universe is going to make people stop loving Russell Simmons for all the lives he touched,” Budden said.
He then added: “Not to take anything away from what he's done, those things, but for those who didn't have that experience with him, he was nothing but kind, gentle, sweet, generous and amazing, if you don't have him. this horror story with him.'
Baden then shifted focus from Simmons and said, “Nobody's talking about the side where women were auctioning their p*ssy to move up the ranks of the system.”

Joe Budden clarified again that he was not referring to Russell Simmons' alleged victims.
