Sitting down with ABC News Live, Jonathan Majors talked about the verdict, his emotions afterward and once again mentioned the name of the deceased Coretta Scott King has fans on X who pile on the jokes.
Jonathan Majors, 34, explained during the conversation with ABC News Life that he was shocked by the verdict and believed that his defense team gathered enough evidence to sway the case in his favor. The interview, which aired live on Monday (January 8), was heavily promoted throughout the weekend with edited clips that certainly sparked interest in the full discussion.
Majors said his relationship with Grace Jabbari was not ideal and the couple had conflicts, but claims he never physically abused her. During the trial, it was revealed that the majors expected Jabbari to embody the poise and grace of Coretta Scott King, the wife of slain civil rights leader Reverend Martin Luther King Jr.
Some of the details of the lawsuit, which revealed that the Majors expected Jabbari, who is white, to embody the image of Scott King, garnered a lot of backlash on X, formerly Twitter, and now the comments are exploding once again on the network of social network. In the ABC interview, Majors said of his current girlfriend, actress Meagan Good, that she is his “Coretta” and that she held him down.
