Vultures 1 is Ye's first album to spend multiple weeks at No.1 since 2011 Watch Throne, featuring Jay-Z, spent two weeks in charge. In total, of Ye's 11 No. 1s, three have spent multiple weeks at No. 1: Vultures 1, Watch Throne and of 2005 Late Enrollmentall with two weeks at the top of the list.
Meanwhile, Yeat scores his highest-charting album to date on the Billboard 200 as his latest release. 2093debuts at No. 2.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the US based on multimetric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units include album sales, track album equivalents (TEA) and streaming album equivalents (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale or 10 individual tracks sold from an album or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 official paid/subscription audio and video streams generated from songs from an album. Of Vultures 1The 75,000 units earned in the tracking week ending Feb. 22, SEA units include 72,000 (down 44%, accounting for the set's 95.25 million official song streams on demand), album sales include 2,000 (down 89% ) and 1,000 TEA units (25% reduction).
Rapper Yeat scores his highest-charting title to date on the Billboard 200, as his new album, 2093, debuts at No. 2. It earned 70,000 equivalent album units in its first week — the artist's best week by units earned. Of that amount, SEA units make up 58,000 (equivalent to 79.15 million official streams of the set's on-demand songs), album sales make up 12,000, and TEA units make up a negligible amount.
2093 was originally released as a standard 22-song album on February 16, with features from Future and Lil Wayne. A day later, the album was reissued in a deluxe edition, dubbed 2093 P2, with two bonus tracks, including one featuring Drake. Then on February 21, the album saw another reissue, called 2093 P3, with four bonus tracks. The final version of the album was only available as a digital download via the artist's official online store during the tracking week (and the four bonus tracks were only available as part of the full album purchase). All versions of the album are combined for tracking and charting purposes.
Yeat debuted on the Billboard 200 two years ago Up 2 Mewhen he bowed out on the list dated January 22, 2022. He eventually reached No. 59. Since then, he has recorded four more appearances, all of which have started in the top 10: 2 Live (No. 6 in 2022), Lyfe (No. 10 in 2022), AfterLyfe (No. 4 in 2023) and now 2093 (No. 2).
Morgan Wallen's top chart One thing at a time rises 4-3 on the new Billboard 200 with 64,000 equivalent album units gained (up 1%), while Noah Kahan's Stick Season slips 3-4 with 60,000 (down 29%). SZA's former No1 warning sign rounds out the top five, holding steady at No. 5 with 46,000 (down 9%).
