Ye aka Kanye West has made a public appeal to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian to get their children out of their “fake school” on social media.
According References, Kanye West called on Kim Kardashian to pull their kids out of their current school in a social media post on Wednesday (February 28). The rapper took to Instagram and wrote, “Kim take my kids from Sierra Canyon now it's a fake celebrity school used by the 'system',” in all caps in the post. The private school in the suburbs of Los Angeles, California is attended by the children of notable celebrities such as LeBron James and Dwayne Wade.
The caption of the post was equally strange. “At this point everyone knows what 'the system' means. I was removed from my father by the system and the system removed me from my children,” West wrote. “When the system drafts athletes, they avoid working with those who have their fathers in their lives because they are harder to manipulate. My two oldest know he's the dad.” West and Kardashian split in 2021 and are parents to four children – North, 10, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 4.
The kids attend Sierra Canyon on a full-time basis, but were also enrolled in after-school activities at the 'Drive Slow' rapper's Donda Academy until it was forced to close in 2022. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian had a rough time co-producing since their divorce, mostly because of Kanye's behavior. One case led Kardashian to step up security for their children in 2022, mainly because West had revealed where they went to school.
Kanye West also acknowledged that he and Kardashian had a “good talk” in an interview with Tucker Carlson at the time, even stating that the reality star has custody of the kids 80 percent of the time. “Right now we've come to a compromise — but I'm not done because I'm not done — but we've come to a compromise that my kids come to my school after school and learn choir,” West said.
