Linkin Park offered up a couple of surprises for fans at their Friday (November 8th) show at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The reunited band welcomed Helmet frontman Page Hamilton for the live debut of the song “All for Nothing,” and also unleashed the world premiere of the brand-new song “Casualty.”
Hamilton appeared on the studio version of “All for Nothing” when it was released on Linkin Park’s 2014 album The Hunting Party. However, the band had never performed the song live until Friday’s show.
Linkin Park co-vocalist Mike Shinoda introduced Hamilton, telling the crowd, “A little while ago, we made this album called The Hunting Party. On it, we had a song that we wrote with Page, and we’d like to give you a special treat … This one’s called ‘All for Nothing.’ Make some noise!”
Shinoda kicked things off with the song’s rapped verses, while Hamilton handled the chorus with vocal contributions from new Linkin Park singer Emily Armstrong.
A few songs later, Linkin Park unveiled the new song “Casualty” off their upcoming album, From Zero, which is set to be released this Friday (November 15th). The tune falls on the heavier side of the Linkin Park musical spectrum, with Armstrong delivering vicious screams throughout.
Linkin Park have a few South American gigs coming up to close out their 2024 tour dates, but have already been announced as headliners of the 2025 US festivals Sick New World and Sonic Temple, both taking place in the spring.
