Channeling the exhilarating sounds of melodic techno, HEREON have released their massive self-titled debut album.
It is the first full-length release from the nascent project, an alias for Like Mike, half of the successful Belgian duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. The new album features collaborations with more than a dozen artists, including Sam Martin, Giuseppe Ottaviani and Galluxy.
Fusing mesmerizing sound design with haunting, progressive techno beats, HERE is now available via Tomorrowland Music after the label revealed the alias alongside the album's lead single, “Pulsating Energy.” He released several singles next, such as “Under Your Spine” and “Alive.”
One of the album's highlights is “Memory,” a dark, minimalist effort that captivates with its haunting sound design. Elsewhere, “Drift” combines an airy intro with layers of depth and euphoric production, while “Warning” surprises with its atmospheric beats and dreamy vocals.
Like Mike has yet to announce any performances as HEREON as of this writing, but will continue route with brother like Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike. They are scheduled to DJ at the Tomorrowland winter festival in the French Alps and at the brand's flagship event in Belgium for its 20th anniversary this summer.
