Hubbard told the sports network that Cobbs was, “a really nice guy … He was very down to earth, relatable. Nice to see all the kids interacting with him. I'm glad to see the owners talking to him when he was going to play on the field.”
North Carolina native Combs — who usually cheers for the Carolina Panthers — has he wore a custom Bengals jersey under his name prior to his current Growin' Up and Gettin' Old stadium tour. The drop-in came a day before the singer will play his first show at The Jungle, the affectionate nickname for the group's Paycor Stadium home.
Friday night's concert (August 2) will see support from Cody Jinks, Charles Wesley Godwin, Hailey Whitters and the Wilder Blue, while Jordan Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Drew Parker and Colby Acuff will heat things up on Saturday (3 August).
