Juno Award-winning rapper Madchild has released his new single 'Sharp Shooter' from his upcoming untitled album, due later this year. The new single sees Madchild return to his roots with producer C-Lance (Merkules, Vinnie Paz). The hip-hop veteran will also hit Canada for a full tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his sophomore album “Lawn Mower Man,” which was recently released on opaque yellow vinyl as part of Record Store Day.
Madchild will conclude the tour with a special Swollen Members reunion show on July 27th at the Hollywood Theater in Vancouver, BC, for the inaugural SwollenFest. Swollen Members will take the stage for the first time in six years, alongside performances by Moka Only, Talib Kweli, Casual, Junk, DJ Flipout and more.
Swollen Members will then return to the States on August 17th at RhymeFest alongside Atmosphere, Living Legends, The Alchemist, Visionaries, Freestyle Fellowship, Funkdoobiest, Project Blowed and more. The show will mark the first time Swollen Members have performed in America in nearly a decade.
