Mariah The Scientist he can sing, but apparently, he can also throw hands. He allegedly hit a woman in Atlanta.
As mentionted on TMZ a woman named Cleopatra Dues filed a report with police in the Zone 2 area that the “Stone Cold” singer assaulted her on Monday, April 29. She claims that Mariah The Scientist ran at her, attacked her, dragged her to the floor and ripped her wig off in the process. “The woman grabbed her by her wig and pulled the wig off her head,” then “proceeded to drag her across the table and onto the floor,” the police report said. Dues claims she suffered injuries at the singer's hands. specifically “bruises and cuts” and “visible bodily harm”. The incident took place at Cavo Kitchen and Cocktail Lounge. a restaurant located in the Buckhead section of Atlanta.
Customers at the venue took video of a woman grabbing someone's wig, but it's unclear if it was actually Mariah The Scientist. The singer songwriter was arrested on Wednesday, May 1st on a misdemeanor and simple battery charge. She posted a $5,000 bond and has since been released, according to the Fulton County Sheriff's Office. Mariah The Scientist has been ordered to have no contact with the victim and not to patronize Cavo Kitchen and Cocktail Lounge.
