Marlon Hoffstadt, whom fans call “DJ Daddy Trance,” kicked off ADE with his first solo performance at the world's largest electronic music summit.
Their highly anticipated Awakenings event, “Daddycation”, named after their latest EP, took place at the famous Gashouder in Amsterdam. The 360° venue gave us a fully immersive experience, regardless of our point of view.
From the moment Hoffstadt took the stage, the atmosphere was electric. His devoted fans, affectionately known as his “children,” came out in full force, dancing to every beat and generating energy to a fever pitch. The atmosphere was so contagious that even the paramedics present were singing, word for word, the songs of Daddycation.
Hoffstadt's rapid rise has been undeniable, and her sold-out ADE headlining performance reinforced her place at the top. The night was an audio-visual extravaganza featuring their biggest hits, including the standout track “It's That Time,” which was one of the most played songs at Tomorrowland and remixed by heavyweights like FISHER.
Midway through the performance, Hoffstadt added to the excitement by removing his long-sleeved rugby-lined shirt to reveal his newly launched product line. Rocking his bold “Dad” tank top, he kept the energy high and his “kids'” spirits lifted. Vibrant Hoffstadt-themed images that echoed their brand lit up screens throughout the venue.
Adding to the magic of the night, Hoffstadt welcomed several close friends and fan favorites to join him on stage, including Malugi, who recently joined him for a brilliant b2b set from Boiler Room in London. Their palpable chemistry peaked during their euphoric remix of “Work Bitch,” sending the crowd into a frenzy as they embraced each other.
