DJ Vlad he has another beef tofu on his hands. Hip-Hop's most hated interviewer and Marlon Wayans had a heated exchange about the actor's interview fee demand.
As was mentioned with Bossip, the media personality has another celebrity on his head. last week, VladTV released a clip from a new Aries Spears interview. During the session, Vlad revealed that he recently withdrew his invitation from Marlon Wayans after the actor had asked for $40,000 and 30% of the revenue he earned from the content. “There is no one on Earth who will pay you $40,000 for an interview much less 30% extra,” Vlad said. “At some point we got on the phone… I had to explain it to him. If you look at your recent interviews… you have about 300,000 views. That's a few thousand dollars in revenue from YouTube.”
As expected, this clip soon went viral and landed on Marlon's radar. In which the White chicks The star took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and proceeded to slander the media personality. “Are you crazy? You are unprofessional my friend. If you don't like the number, keep moving. You look BAD. You should go back,” Marlon Wayans replied. “Mad at a black man stating his number? And now you're going public and using your platform to try and drag me down. Never in my life have I encountered this stupid negotiation tactic.”
DJ Vlad continued his pettiness and shared more posts rivaling the comedian. “Not crazy at all. I find this all amusing because you really think you're worth $40k for an interview,” he replied. “I said there's no one on Earth who will pay you, and I haven't been proven wrong yet. Throwing out a stupid number for an interview is unprofessional my friend – because your interviews don't even do 5% of that on every platform you do. And to bring up race when there was no mention of it in all our conversations shows how weak a person you really are.”
