In a revelation that seems straight out of the metaphorical book of dance music history, NERO is about to embark on a new artistic chapter, one derived from a treasure trove of forgotten music from the 2000s.
If the band celebrates two decades of cultural influence and productions that cross borders, the revelation could not have come at a more opportune time. The legendary electronic music group recently unearthed a forgotten pile of dusty CDs from an attic, including many unreleased tracks as well as the original WAV files of the group's early drum & bass music.
NERO intends to release these themes on its superfan center starting with an EP called Requiemwhich was released exclusively on vinyl on May 10, 2006. Fans can expect a steady stream of content, including older songs, edits and never-before-heard tracks, to be added to the platform weekly, according to the band's management. EDM.com.
Meanwhile, as this coveted NERO archive content begins to hit the internet, anticipation continues to build towards the release of the group's long-awaited third album. Towards the unknown. As of this writing, a release date has not been revealed.
