Oliver Heldens is back with “I Want Your Love”, a euphoric techno anthem produced alongside DIØN and Funk Tribu.
The unlikely trio have come up with something that feels both primitive and polished. It's a masterful fusion of techno's somber charm and house vibes, a dichotomy that Heldens has mastered over the years by balancing his own music and that of his techno alias, HI-LO.
Now via his own Heldeep label, “I Want Your Love” is driven by an undercurrent of dark, rumbling basslines that keep you grounded even as the soaring vocals lift you higher. The Dutch dance music superstar says the song represents his vision for what's next in dance music.
“Over the last few years, I've been inspired and excited by what the next generation of dance music is doing, and DIØN and Funk Tribu have been two of my favorites from this new wave of dynamic rave music,” Heldens said in a statement. “We thought it would be interesting to bring our three worlds together on one track.”
