One could consider Zedd the Willy Wonka of the electronic music scene after the DJ teamed up with 5 Gum to host a scavenger hunt to find the golden (or in this case, shiny) tickets to an exclusive rave.
The intimate, secret party will be held on August 22 at a New York City warehouse, giving searchers just under two weeks to look. To find its secret location, fans will have to follow a series of clues shared on 5 Gum and Zedd's social media channels, as well as “decipher clues hidden in plain sight,” according to a press release.
The first 25 people to identify the intimate location will be asked to visit the winery in advance to receive a pack of 5 glow-in-the-dark gum, which will also serve as a ticket.
“I love offering the unexpected in my shows, and performing at what will be one of my most intimate and unique venues yet (an authentic New York City warehouse) certainly fits that bill,” said Zedd. “Partnering with 5 Gum to deliver this incredible experience will certainly be an unforgettable one.”

Before his mini rave, 5 Gum called the winery “Zedd's smallest place.” The superstar DJ and producer said he will be playing new music from Telostheir first album in nearly a decade, scheduled for release August 30.
“We know that fans of both 5 Gum and Zedd enjoy the thrill of a new adventure, so what better way to do that than by having the opportunity to be one of the few to discover and attend such an intimate and unforgettable experience with a world-renowned DJ,” added Maria Urista, Vice President of Gum & Mints at Mars.
As for hopeful fans who don't score one of the 25 tickets, there's still a chance to win $500 worth of tickets to spend on Zedd's upcoming tour or event merchandise. The drawing will begin at 5 Gum's website August 26th before ending on September 6th.
The event follows the release of Zedd's new single, “Lucky,” a track aptly named for those looking for rare tickets. The song, which Zedd released today, features rising singer-songwriter Remi Wolf. Listen to it below and find it on streaming platforms. here.
