Both Vedder and Ice Nine Kills have recently released songs that showcase their love of ska music: Vedder covered The English Beat's “Save It for Later” (which was featured on season 3 of The bear) and Ice Nine Kill released a ska-tinged version of “Walking on Sunshine,” which they completed with help from Reel Big Fish.
Also joining the conversation this week is author Marc Wasserman (The rise of ska: an oral history of american ska and reggae), who gives us an insight into how Vedder's story intersects with ska music.
