After facing lengthy probation for his recent drug bust in Savannah, rapper Quando Rondo got some “good news” as his legal team reached a deal with the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia.
According WJCL, a plea deal has been reached in the case of Tyquian Bowman aka Quando Rondo, who was indicted and charged with being part of a drug conspiracy to possess and distribute methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine and marijuana. While the details of the deal are not known nor how much time Rondo may or may not serve, he will at least avoid going through a trial that would see him spend a large portion of his life behind bars.
WJCL References:
The federal indictment and FBI detention followed an arrest in Savannah on state drug and gang charges.
A hearing will be scheduled to accept Bowman's plea. The details of the deal are unclear at this time.
With his many legal woes, Rondo should be able to breathe a little easier now that this pending matter appears to have been settled. The only question is what are the specifics and what is his punishment, if any. I guess we'll have to wait and find out.
