Warner Bros. has revealed the first trailer for Mickey 17Bong Joon-ho's new adaptation of Edward Ashton's 2022 sci-fi novel Mickey 7.
Starring Robert Pattinson as the titular Mickey, the film follows a space colonist who's signed up to be “expendable” — if he dies (which he certainly does, at least 17 times), a new body is generated with most of his memories intact. Mickey is tasked with exploring and surviving on an ice planet that humans are attempting to colonize, and all the while, people keep asking him, “What's it like to die?” Eventually, after one death, Mickey's body suffers a misprint, giving rise to multiple Mickeys.
