Even though Sir Rod Stewart was forced to cancel what was supposed to be the 200th and final show of his 13-year residency in Las Vegas, the tireless pop legend announced on Wednesday (August 7) that he will be back next year. .
“Vegas, I'm having too much fun for this to end, so we're back for an encore! Don't miss The Encore Shows Las Vegas Residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace March 12-22 & May 29-June 8! Stewart took to Instagram alongside footage of the singer in his designer clothes singing his 1971 classic 'Maggie May'.

The news came just hours after Stewart, 79, announced that illness required him to cancel the final show at his longtime Caesars Palace home. “Deeply sorry to miss this 200th show celebration,” she wrote on Instagram. “Most people can work with strep, but obviously not me. I'm completely blown away. I have been waiting for this concert for so long. I am deeply sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.”
In that post, he teased “luckily we'll be back now in 2025 and I hope to see you all there.”
