A staggering 45,000-plus attendees gathered in London's Finsbury Park to kick off Michael Bibi's 'One Life' tour, celebrating the beloved DJ's return after a six-month battle with cancer.
The momentous event, which became the largest electronic spectacle in the city's history, is now available to watch in full on YouTube.
Emotions ran high during Bibi's main set, with moving images of her hospital experiences and snippets of her childhood on screen. His father also joined him on stage for a riveting guitar performance.
“London. The city where I grew up, the place where I received my electronic music studies and the city where I was treated to fight cancer,” Bibi wrote. “On July 6th we danced to celebrate life, the power of never giving up and showed our support for the people who helped save my life. I will never forget that day. I imagined this spectacle while I was in my hospital bed and I saw it coming. Seeing life in front of my eyes is one of the most beautiful things I've ever been a part of.”
Bibi will perform a “very limited number of shows” as she continues her recovery, he said. Billboard. The founder of Solid Grooves has upcoming dates in Argentina, Brazil and Chile next month.
