Tekashi 6ix9ine he's back behind bars. The rapper turned federal informant was arrested for violating the terms of his supervised release.
As distinguished TMZ, The Brooklyn, New York native was taken into custody on Tuesday (October 29) in New York City. According to to NBC News A warrant for his arrest was issued by the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. While the details of the paperwork have not yet been released, ABC News NY exhibitions that authorities have confirmed that the “GOOBA” performer was arrested for traveling to Las Vegas without permission and missing his scheduled drug test. He is also said to have tested positive for methamphetamine and arrived an hour late for a court hearing that morning.
Tekashi 6ix9ine told the judge he had just flown back to New York from Florida and overslept. Additionally, he said he traveled to Las Vegas to perform and thought he was licensed to do so as it allows him to earn a living as a music artist. In response to testing positive for methamphetamine, the man born Daniel Hernandez says he takes Adderall, which contains methamphetamine. “I'm human,” he told Judge Paul A. Engelmayer. “I'm human bro.”
The judge made it clear he was not happy and said his behavior showed “full-blown contempt for the law” and immediately ordered his arrest. Tekashi 6ix9ine is set to remain behind bars until his next hearing on November 12.
