SXSW London announces ticket details for its inaugural 2025 event

SXSW London has shared ticketing details for its upcoming 2025 UK inaugural event. Taking place in east London's Shoreditch from June 2-7, the upcoming event will be the first time SXSW has taken place in Europe, aside from its home in Austin, Texas and the expansion to Sydney, Australia .

Full event passes to all Conventions, Music and Screen Festivals will be available for purchase, as well as for individual separate programming strands. tickets go on sale on November 21st and a 25% discount will apply to those who purchase passes from the general sale before December 19th. SXSW London has also announced additional details about venue partners across Shoreditch. These include Truman Brewery, Village Underground, Rich Mix, Shoreditch Town Hall, Shoreditch Church, Christ Church Spitalfields, Dream Factory (Chance St & Rivington St), Kachette, Bike Shed Moto Co, Shoreditch Studios / Over the Road and Protein Studios.

Bulletin board has been confirmed as the event's first official partner and will host a music night during the festival with a world-renowned artist joining the event. The show will also have tickets for the general public.

The festival will work with local charities and community groups to provide 500 free passes to ensure the city's “rich diversity” is represented in all events and programming.

“We're excited to share how many incredible venues are already working with us to take over SXSW London's Shoreditch next June,” he said Katy Arnanderdirector of programming for SXSW London; “Shoreditch is known as a vibrant center for creativity and technological innovation, as well as for its diversity, energetic youth culture, global cuisine and nightlife. We are excited to be working closely with local stakeholders to ensure the festival has a positive impact on the community it will be held in.”

In October, SXSW London announced that it would begin the process of accepting session proposals from the public across various programming strands. The festival says that “thousands of conference proposals have already been submitted from more than 50 countries around the world.” The submission portal will remain open until November 29 at the festival website.

In April 2021, it was announced that SXSW had signed a “lifeline” deal with P-MRC, a joint venture between Penske Media Corporation and MRC, making P-MRC a shareholder and long-term partner with the Austin festival. P-MRC is its parent company Bulletin board.
