Mark your calendars because on Friday (May 10), Tems announced the release date for her debut album Born in the Wild and the dates for her upcoming world tour.
Born in the Wild will be released on June 7, 2024, via Since ’93/RCA Records. “This is my most special moment. Everything I have I put into this. Thank you all so much for believing in me. BORN IN THE WILD. JUNE 7th,” she wrote on Instagram, with her post also revealing the album artwork.
She released “Love Me JeJe,” a reimagining of Nigerian singer-songwriter Seyi Sodimu’s 1997 hit of the same name, following her debut performance of the single at Coachella in April. Last year, Tems dropped two singles: “Me & U” and “Not an Angel.”
She’ll be taking her first full-length project across the globe on the Born in the Wild World Tour, with special guests Naomi Sharon and Lekan. The 31-date trek kicks off at London’s Eventim Apollo on June 12 and goes through Europe, North America, Africa and Asia before wrapping in Australia with three dates in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney in November. Tickets will be on sale next Friday, May 17, at 10 a.m. here.
