A little-known DJ can now make his way into Tomorrowland, the world's largest EDM festival, thanks to a new contest.
The iconic festival brand today launched a competition through the Online Tomorrowland DJ & Protaining Academy, its native e-learning program. The virtual academy offers courses taught by several Tomorrowland headline artists, as well as access to music production tools and exclusive masterclasses from several of the world's most renowned DJs.
If you're an artist dreaming of performing at Tomorrowland, all you have to do is become a member of the academy and submit a DJ mix. The mixtape performance should be between 30 and 45 minutes and all genres are acceptable, according to Tomorrowland. The deadline to submit mixes is June 20, 2024.
The winner of the contest will perform at the Tomorrowland 2024 festival in Belgium on Saturday, July 20 on the House of Fortune by JBL stage. They will also “experience the life of the artist” with backstage access to the festival, which celebrates Tomorrowland's momentous 20th anniversary.
You can learn more about the contest here. A subscription to the Tomorrowland Online DJ and Producer Academy costs €15 per month or €165 per year.
Tomorrowland returns for two weekends in 2024: July 19-21 and July 26-28. You can read more about the event and discover its programming here.
