TI's son, Clifford “King” Harris Jr. was arrested earlier this week in Georgia.
Fox 5 Atlanta reports that jail records show the rapper's 20-year-old son had an open warrant for his arrest in Pickens County for failing to appear in court. The warrant stems from charges of speeding, driving with a suspended license and DUI in August 2022. He was arrested and booked into the Dekalb County Jail and later released to Pickens County.
According to WSB-TV 2 AtlantaKing almost hit a patrol car as he was leaving a gas station in his BMW. Officers said in the incident report that they smelled weed and he had a gun on his hip. Then they checked his details and the warrant came up.
“I informed Mr. Harris that I would need to speak with him outside and opened the driver's side door,” the arresting officer wrote in the incident report. “Mr. Harris was cooperative and I removed the gun from his hip without any problems. I then ordered Mr. Harris out of the vehicle and restrained him by handcuffing him. I escorted Mr. Harris to my patrol car, did a pat down and placed him in the back of my vehicle.'
There were two other people in the car with Harris, but they were not arrested.
During a recent appearance on Atlanta's Hot 107.9TI revealed that King is expecting his first child and joked about how he will raise his grandson. “King is going to have a son and I told him I'm going to make him the greatest gangster of all time,” she said as she began to laugh. “I will raise this child to torment you as you tormented me. I promise you. There will be an indictment of this young man.”
