Tommy Richman's breakthrough hit “Million Dollar Baby” climbs to No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and Sabrina Carpenter's “Espresso” marks a third week atop the Billboard Global Excl. USA chart.
Additionally, Billie Eilish debuts with three songs in the top 10 of both the Global 200 and Global Excl. USA, all from her new album, Hit hard and soft, and aespa marks its first Global Exemption. US top 10 with “Supernova”.
Global 200 and Global Excl. The US charts, which launched in September 2020, rank songs based on streaming and sales activity from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by Luminate. Global 200 includes global data and Global Excl. The US chart includes data from regions outside the United States.
Chart scores are based on a weighted formula that incorporates only official streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of music audio and video services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from worldwide, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from chart calculations.
Richman collects Global 200
Tommy Richman's “Million Dollar Baby” gains 2-1 on the Global 200 with 109 million streams (down 12%) and 8,000 sold (down 2%) worldwide May 17-23.
The Woodbridge, Va., native rules the Global 200 with his first overall Advertising sign chart entry as a lead artist. It's just the third such No. 1 and first R&B/hip-hop hit among 61 total chart-toppers since the list began, following GAYLE's “abcdefu” (four weeks at No. 1 in January-February 2022) and Jawsh 685 “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat),” featuring Jason Derulo and BTS (one week, October 2020).
Post Malone's “I Had Some Help,” featuring Morgan Wallen, falls to No. 2 on the Global 200 a week after debuting at No. 1, and Kendrick Lamar's “Not Like Us” remains at No. 3; two weeks after his arrival. at the summit.
