Train are mourning the loss of founding member Charlie Colin, following news that the bassist has died aged 58.
“When I met Charlie Colin, front left, I fell in love with him,” the band's frontman Pat Monaghan wrote alongside a photo of the OG band on Instagram on Wednesday (May 22). “He was the sweetest guy and so handsome. Let's make a band that makes the only sense. His unique bass playing and beautiful guitar playing helped people notice us in SF and beyond. I will always have a warm place for him in my heart. I always tried to pull him closer, but he had a vision of his own. You are a legend, Charlie. Go charm the pants off these angels.''
