Travis Kelce Shares Swifties' Excitement About Taylor Swift's Upcoming album Department of Tormented Poets.
During a Super Bowl media event on Monday, she shared that she got a chance to listen to some of her 11th studio album. “I've heard some of them, yes. And it's unbelievable,” the Kansas City Chiefs told reporters. “I can't wait for it to rock the world when it finally drops.”
When asked for more details Midnight then he replied, “I can't give you anything. I'll leave it to her.”
Elsewhere at the press event, Kelce praised the superstar who broke the Grammy record for most album of the year wins as she picked up her fourth trophy, thanks to Midnight. “She's incredible. She's rewriting the history books herself,” she smiled, adding, “I told her I'd have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with material as well.”
On receiving the award for Best Pop Vocal album (Midnight) during Sunday's ceremony, Swift announced the Department of Tormented Poets and its release date. “I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way,” he said. “But I know that the way the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans. So I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I've been keeping from you for the past two years, which is that my brand new album will be released on April 19th.”
The following Monday, Swift shared the tracklist for the album, revealing a total of 17 songs (including a bonus track) and collaborations with Post Malone and Florence + The Machine.
