Travis Scott's signature Jordan sneaker line is finally set to hit the streets, and after a bit of a shock drop a few months ago, the hype for the sneaker is building with each passing week.
According High concern, Jordan's “Jumpman Jack” is set to drop on April 30th. Needless to say, they'll sell out in no time, as the mocha colorway paired with the upside-down swoosh is basically a hit when it comes to sneakerheads these days. While there are a few colorways that are supposed to be released in the near future, the white and mocha brown blocking is up the bat first, and with pairs from the shock drop reselling for over $700, you can expect it to be a tough cop.
Per High concern:
There are also plenty of Scott signatures throughout the sneaker, like the Cactus Jack motifs embroidered on the heels to the etched “Jack” on the translucent outsole, ready to wear down with time (or maybe even a trip to the mosh pit).
The second biggest feature of the Jumpman Jack sneaker is the large strap across the forefoot, with raised co-branding fans and a lock-in for a furious ride.
Beneath those Scott-approved touches, the Jordan Jumpman Jack sneaker offers a bit of nostalgia. The overall shape of the shoe evokes the feel of old Nike sneakers like the Mac Attack (Scott knows a lot about the model).
There's no word on how many pairs will be available on release day, but given Jordan Brand's history of only producing 100,000 – 250,000 of their Travis Scott collaborations (millions of sneakerheads want these), we're not holding out much hope that there are enough couples to go around April 30th.
