In June, Druski published behind the scenes footage something that looked like a skit starring a British rapper. However, it turns out he was filming a music video.
Today, the social media comedian released “No More Social Media” featuring UK rapper Kairo Keyz. Drusky directed the video himself and provides some humorous bars like, “Hit the op like a baby's bottom/That's naughty, naughty,” delivered in a funky British accent. Kairo drops some funny bars, also mentions Druski's Coulda Been Records and Ugliest Rapper Alive from the Atlanta comedian Coulda Been House YouTube series.
There is also the fact that Druski wears a white t-shirt sleeve as a Shiesty mask. The video and song are ridiculous in the best possible way, and the beat—provided by producer Muddy—is kind of sharp. Let's hope we get more parody songs from Druski. This is his second parody song of the year, so far. He fell “Stand by Bihness” featuring Snoop & DJ Drama in February. Take out a call to action for the Coulda Been Records auditions in London, too, but this sure-to-be-classic material is still unreleased.
Later this year he will host the inaugural Coulda Fest comedy and music festival on September 7th at Atlanta's State Farm Arena. DC Young Fly, 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Kai Cenat, Soulja Boy, Waka Flocka Flame, Young Dro, Roscoe Dash, Travis Porter, Yung Joc, among others and special guests are set to perform.
Check out his statement explaining the festival below:
“Coulda Fest will not be a traditional music and comedy festival. It will be a celebration of Atlanta culture and an evening full of hilarious skits that take us back to special moments in our city's musical history. This idea has never been done before, so I can't wait to bring this vision to life.”
