It's been a few years since Will Smith alienated a chunk of his fan base when he took fire from Chris Rock during the 2022 Academy Awards. But are those same fans willing to let bygones be bygones and support him at the box office?
We'll find out as Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reunite to bring an all-new installment to the wildly popular Bad Boys franchise, which released its first trailer for the film just this Tuesday (March 26). In the new upcoming Bad Boys: Ride or Diewe find detectives Mike Lowery (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) on the run from the law as they are flanked by some powerful men who took care of their Captain Conrad Howard (Joe Pantoliano) a “dirty” cop died.
With the authorities on their tail and a powerful cartel on their trail, Lowrey and Burnett embark on a mission to not only clear their names but also that of their late captain. It looks like they are on the final stretch of it Fast & Furious saga, the two men find themselves dealing with bad guys everywhere from a military transport helicopter to the streets of Miami. And of course we have a picture of Will Smith running through freeway traffic in a tank with a gun in hand. That should be in his contract for these movies.
