The 2024 ARIA Awards will be presented at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion for the third consecutive year and is set for November 20.
The Australian record industry's premier awards ceremony is now in its 38th yearu edition, also welcomes the return of streaming partner YouTube and live broadcaster Channel 9, who will be putting on a “special presentation” on the night.
The ceremony will premiere live only on Stan and will follow the Channel 9 package, with performances and moments available on demand on ARIA YouTube Channel. YouTube will also exclusively stream the red carpet and awards live.
“Since 1987,” comments ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd, “the ARIA Awards have represented the pinnacle of achievement in Australian music. In the past year, a huge number of homegrown Australian talent have made their mark locally and globally and we are very excited to celebrate these achievements,” he continues.
Hordern at Sydney's Entertainment Quarter is one of Australia's most iconic mid-sized venues, celebrating its 100th anniversary this yearu anniversary.
From its grand opening in 1924 until 1983 (when the now-demolished Sydney Entertainment Center first opened its doors), the 5,500-capacity Hordern was the largest indoor venue in the country's largest city. Its reputation for hosting concerts at the highest level remains intact, with David Bowie, AC/DC, INXS and many more filling the hall.
“NSW is already the nation's capital for recorded music, but we want to elevate the industry's role in our state's history, which the ARIA Awards do every year, showcasing our world-renowned talent,” explains Minister for the Arts, Minister Music and the Night Economy and Minister of Labor and Tourism, John Graham.

Destination NSW, the agency that supports tourism and events development across the state, has renewed its partnership as a strategic sponsor for the ARIAs.

The ARIA Awards 2024 event team is led by Roving Enterprises (production) and includes executive producer Craig Campbell and event producers Second Sunday. Twofold Media is handling PR and red carpet, and White Noise Agency is handling sponsorship. This behind-the-scenes team put on last year's show, which is widely regarded as one of the best in recent memory.
The performers, nominations, hosts and presenters for the 2024 edition will be announced in due course.
