The Oscar 2024 is upon us and the full list of nominees has been announced for the much-awaited event. However, as these things go, fans online are upset that some of their favorite stars were snubbed at the nominations announcement.
The 2024 Oscars will be held on March 10, 2024 and the stars will be coming out in droves to join the festivities and hopefully pick up a coveted award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
In the Actor in a Leading Role category, Colman Domingo and Jeffrey Wright were nominated for their roles in Rustin and American fiction respectively, joining the likes of Bradley Cooper, Paul Giamatti and Cillian Murphy.
For the supporting actor category, Sterling K. Brown was nominated for his performance American fictionwith Robert De Niro, Robert Downey Jr. Ryan Gosling and Mark Ruffalo.
Going into the Supporting Actress category, Danielle Brooks and Da'Vine Joy Randolph were nominated for their roles in The Color Purple and The Holdovers respectively, with Emily Blunt, America Ferrera and Jodie Foster.
For an animated film, Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse landed a nomination next to The boy and the heron, Elementary, Nimonaand Robot Dreams.
With the list of nominations for the 2024 Oscars expanding, the requisite reaction from fans on social media is usually intense. Some claim it The Color Purple Star Fantasia Barrino snubbed along with other gossips.
