21 Savage's first North American solo headlining tour in five years is just weeks away from kicking off. On Tuesday, the rapper revealed his tour dates American Dream tour, making stops in 30 cities in support of his recently released studio album.
The tour is scheduled to kick off on May 1st at Vancouver's Rogers Arena. 21 Savage will be performing in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Austin, Houston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Toronto, Hartford, Virginia Beach, Birmingham, West Palm Beach, Tampa and more. The tour wraps up on June 15 with a hometown show at Atlanta's Lakewood Amphitheater.
General sale for American Dream The tour will kick off on Friday, March 1st at 10am local time via Live Nation. Artist and VIP presale packages will be available starting Wednesday, February 28th at 10am. local time.
21 Savage will be joined by special guests JID, Nardo Wick and 21 Lil Harold. 21 Lil Harold recently accompanied the rapper on his first European tour in November.
For this series, 21 Savage hired creative director Ben Wolin and director Matt Bauerschmidt with creative consultant Danny Seth. In an interview with Rolling rock at the time, Wolin explained that the rapper would continue to explore the motif of the American Dream in the coming year. That it can appear outside of the United States is an achievement in itself. In October, ICE deemed 21 Savage a “lawful permanent citizen” of America, allowing him to travel freely internationally for the first time since childhood.
“I want to thank every single one of you who bought a ticket to come see me,” 21 Savage told his sold-out audience in London last year. “I've been through a lot of bullshit to make it on this stage tonight with you.”
