If you've seen pictures of 50 Cent lately, you may have noticed that the rapper is looking a lot thinner these days. And while this kind of dramatic celebrity weight loss is often met with dire suggestions of possible medical intervention, Fiddy promises you that his cut is natural and healthy.
“Do you want to talk about weight loss? I was at the gym working fk out man,” 50 said in an Instagram video posted on Wednesday (January 24). “And they say it's Ozempic? I ran, I ran, I did what I had to do. You saw me on tour.” The rapper said all that hard work took him from 253 pounds to his current svelte 210.
The 'Wanksta' rapper wrapped up the 2023 dates of his Final Lap tour in November and kicked off 2024 by saying he planned to “practice abstinence” this year. And guess what? He says it works because freezing his prostitution helped him get the right kind of pump. “I'm focused man, abstinence exercise is helping me train harder“, he wrote in an earlier post on Instagram. “It feels great, I think more people should try it.”
When he announced his pledge earlier this year, 50 explained that, “My new idea is so big, I don't have time for distractions, I do abstinence, I meditate and I focus on my goals.” 50 has two more Final Lap shows planned for this year, a March 1 concert at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and a March 3 show at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater in Phoenix.
