Throughout his career 50 cents has remained one of Didi's most vocal critics. In a recent interview, Fif explains why he would mock the mogul.
The CEO of G-Unit recently interview with People magazine. While he discussed various topics during his sit-down, the entertainment publication had him explain why he would tease Combs throughout his career.
“Look, it looks like I'm doing some super outrageous things, but I haven't. It's really me saying what I've been saying for 10 years,” 50 Cent said. The “I Get Money” rapper continued, adding, “Now he's more alive in the news with the Puffy stuff, but away from it, I'm like, 'Yeah, it's just my perspective because I've been away from it all year, why not that's my style.”
While the two have been spotted hanging out on occasion, Fif are maintained they only had a working relationship.
“I wouldn't call it a friendship because there would be no frustration between us if we didn't talk to each other,” he says. In 2006, things appeared to have soured between them when 50 Cent, who was trying to sign Mase at the time, expressed his frustration with Diddy in a diss track called “The Bomb.”
Not only did 50 say that Combs delayed the deal, but he also reported that the Bad Boy Entertainment founder had something to do with The Notorious BIG's murder.
Didi's federal human trafficking trial is set to begin in May. His previous attempts to secure bail have been rejected.
