50 Cent was quick to share his reaction to Sean “Diddy” Combs' apology for a 2016 video that appears to show the Bad Boy CEO assaulting then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura at a hotel.
“This won't work, who is advising him right now? Bad move SMH,” the G-Unit boss — who has been relentless in his years-long feud with mocking Diddy — posted Instagram on Sunday (May 19).
On Sunday morning, Combs took to social media to share a video of himself taking responsibility for his actions in the disturbing clip.
“It's so hard to reflect on the darkest moments in your life, but sometimes you have to,” Combs says in his Instagram apology video. “I was upset. I mean, I hit rock bottom. But I find no excuses. My behavior in this video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in this video. loathe. I was disgusted when I did it, I am disgusted now.”
In the video, secured by CNN and dated March 5, 2016, Combs is seen pushing Ventura to the ground near an elevator bank, kicking her several times while she is lying on the ground and dragging her down the hall.
Combs continued his apology on Sunday, saying: “I went out and got professional help. I had to go to therapy, to rehab. He had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I'm so sorry. But I am committed to being a better person every day. I'm not asking for forgiveness. I am really sorry.
