According to an autopsy report from the New Jersey State Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (via People), Breedlove died from acute fentanyl, acetylfentanyl, cocaine, and ethanol poisoning. The death was considered accidental.
Breedlove died in his sleep on September 24 at the age of 46 at his home in New Jersey.
At the time, Breedlove's mother, Patricia, issued a statement confirming his death. “Nashawn was a rapper, singer, songwriter and actor. No one could deny his talent,” he wrote. “Nashawn's departure from this world has left an immense void in my life, one that words cannot fully express.”
