Teyana Taylor has had enough of TMZ being in her business.
The ultra-talented all-rounder took to Instagram to call out the celebrity website following a recent report about her pending divorce from former NBA jock Iman Shumpert, accusing them of making malicious headlines about the situation.
In a post on her IG Stories, Taylor wrote, “Son @tmz are you serious???? You take it too far with these misleading headlines and I'm sick of it! Every time I turn it's either half leaked and made up stories, or words twisted for clickbait!!!! Please kindly mind your business and respect me and my family's privacy.”
Teyana Taylor's applause is apparently in response to a report that her ex-husband has been “playing dirty in their divorce war…slowly shutting off all the utilities in the home where she lives with their 2 kids.”
People found out the couple, who many believed were “relationship goals,” were on the outs after Shumpert filed a copy using their real names. Taylor originally filed for divorce in 2023, using just their initials to keep the situation private.
Teyana Taylor won despite alleged divorce attacks
This latest news comes after a great week of good news for Teyana Taylor. She was nominated for an NAACP Image Award for her performance in One Thousand and One.
She also announced that she and her production company The Aunties have greenlit the Dionne Warwick biopic to star in the title role.
“Thank you for trusting me, @coco_gilbert And our production company @theauntiesinc by telling your iconic story! We are so excited to make you proud!” Taylor wrote in the post.
