Larry David has been a legendary performer on screen for several decades, but now fans will have the chance to see him and all his curmudgeonly charm live in person. Today, David revealed details of “A Conversation with Larry David,” a live event taking place in Washington, DC and Boston this spring.
Presented by a moderator, “A Conversation with Larry David” will allow audiences to enjoy an informal discussion with the comedian, touching on topics such as Curb your enthusiasm, Seinfeld, and more. The Washington, DC date will take place at The Anthem on March 29, and the Boston date will take place at Fenway's MGM Music Hall on April 1.
Tickets for the shows will be available first through a Live Nation Presale opening on Wednesday (use access code STAND OUT). General sale will then open on Friday, February 2 at 10:00 am local time via Ticketmaster. Once tickets go on sale, you can also find them at StubHubwhere orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub's FanProtect program.
Speaking about upcoming events, David offered a statement: “Hello everyone! It's Larry. I really want to see you all. Just so you know, I recently had plastic surgery on my face and the doctor, who everyone praised, completely blew it, leaving me completely expressionless. So if I seem more bitter than usual, that's why, but don't let that stop you from having fun!
News of the live shows comes as fans prepare for the return of Curb your enthusiasm, which will air its twelfth and final season starting February 4 on Max. For more, read ConsequenceReview of the first episode of the season by Liz Shannon Miller.
