Country musician and Hootie & The Blowfish singer Darius Rucker has been arrested in Tennessee on misdemeanor drug charges.
As reported by TMZRucker was arrested Thursday in Williamson County, where he lives. He was taken to jail around 12:00 pm CT, and was charged with three separate misdemeanors, including two counts of simple possession or casual exchange of a controlled substance, and one count of violation of vehicle registration laws. After about an hour, Rucker was released on $10,500 bail and is no longer in custody. His attorney, Mark Puryear, issued a statement saying, “Darius Rucker is fully cooperating with authorities regarding the misdemeanor charges.”
