Zedd is part of a group of famous investors supporting Mountaintop Studios' efforts to develop a new first-person shooter.

He is in the company of esports professionals Shroud, Tarik and iiTzTimmy along with NBA superstar Paul George of the Los Angeles Clippers. The round was led by Anthos Capital with the participation of Andreessen Horowitz and RX3 Growth Partners, among other venture capital firms.
The illustrious group reportedly participated in a $30 million funding round and has extensive competitive gaming experience that the studio can potentially lean on for competitive insights. Mountaintop Studios was launched in 2020 by Oculus co-founders Nate Mitchell and Matt Hansen.
Mountaintop is currently play testing. Spectrumwhich is expected to be unveiled later in 2024.
