With nods to early 2000s pop, 'Evolution X' marks a change in direction from Deniece's more reggae-flavored recent releases. This time she returns to the pop genre that made her famous. Co-written with acclaimed American songwriter Holly Lamar, who wrote Faith Hill's hit 'Breath', and featuring production by Pert Makela and RauliEskolin, 'Evolution X' is a great song.
