Slayer's reunion comes as a shocking surprise, as guitarist Kerry King just launched his eponymous solo band, with an album and plenty of tour dates on the way. But alas, the thrash legends will be playing their first show since wrapping up a farewell tour in November 2019.
“We are thrilled to announce that Slayer will reunite for a momentous performance at Louder Than Life,” said Danny Wimmer of promoter Danny Wimmer Presents. “I was at their last show at The Forum in 2019 and have been working ever since to bring them back to the Louder stage! With over 140 bands across five stages, we're celebrating our 10th Louder Than Life with the biggest lineup yet!
