Kanye West may be out of pop culture due to his wildly anti-Semitic antics, but Adidas' sneaker line is still moving like we're living in the pre-MAGA era on these streets, and there's more to come.
According High concern, Adidas will continue to unload its remaining Yeezy stock in the coming months, as it has throughout 2023, with word that this will be its last stock before the Yeezy officially becomes the three-stripes brand. While many assumed that anything Kanye-related would fail at release due to the backlash he garnered for his anti-Semitic comments in 2022, when Adidas began dropping its Yeezy stock last year, the line sold out immediately.
Now that they've seen there's still a market for the Yeezy line, Adidas is looking to sell what's left before the end of the year, though no release date has been set yet.
Highsnobiety says:
However, according to YEEZY-obsessed hackers, a refresh is almost upon us. They are confident that it will be released throughout March 2024, reportedly starting on March 7th until the end of the month.
And, of course, they've already loaded the YEEZY playlist.
adidas' latest YEEZY drop reportedly features a variety of classic shoe styles including the YEEZY Slide in Dark Onyx, Salt and Slate Grey, YEEZY BOOST 500 in Stone Salt and Taupe. YEEZY FOAM RNNR in Granite and Carbon.
Other sneakers will likely join the list by the end of the month.
Once Adidas finally unloads the rest of their Yeezy inventory, that might be it for Kanye West's run in the sneaker industry. Although fans have been speculating a return to Nike as he's been seen rocking the Air Force 1 and Nike gloves lately, we seriously doubt Nike would accept the backlash and controversy that would surely follow Kanye West back on the swoosh brand .
