It's 2024 and Meek Mill and DJ Akademiks are still banging. The Philadelphia rapper and pro-level internet troll, respectively, have been going back and forth on X, so of course social media users are picking up on all the chaos.
Not that it really matters at this point, but this brouhaha seems to have started when Akademiks took to his Twitch to take shots at Meek over Diddy's latest lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges that Diddy told Lil Rod that he was having sex with Meek Mill — which for the record is completely unfounded.
Of course, Meek caught wind. “Like you niggas comin with the sick now… Can't wait to meet the academics lol they know I'm falling tomar this hurt control this net getting real weird,” he tweeted in response to the clip of Ak setting the bait .
He then finally threatened Ak with a proper fade, sort of.
“Akademiks I didn't tell you to stop playing with my name… idk what I do when I see you! Will have a combo with it!” she tweeted (we'll never type or say x'd).
To this, and with Meek committed and thus falling into the trap, Akademiks responded with the usual clown-a-rapper tropes that included getting off your label, allegedly, and copious amounts of homophobia. He also supports the “Why are you mad at me when it's the lawsuit that said you're gay?” appeal.
Blatant toxic masculinity and homophobia is the worst business. So, of course, all the angles from the X app come together. good, bad and extra ugly. See for yourself in the gallery, for archival purposes.
