Hedex will headline a charity party in the UK to pay tribute to his late friend, Dan Cracknell, who tragically died last year.
Cracknell died from a rare and aggressive brain tumor, according to Rainbows, a Loughborough hospice that cares for babies, children and young people facing serious and terminal illnesses. The center provided him and his family with care and support in the final days of his life.
One of Cracknell's visitors at the time was Hedex, a rising superstar in the world of drum & bass music. The EDM.com Class of 2024 star was her favorite DJ, according to Rainbows.
“Drum & bass was Dan's life,” his mother Francesca told Rainbows. “He loved to party and he was always at raves.”
As well as a performance by Hedex, the show promises an artistic line-up of fire breathers, stilt walkers and face painters for an unforgettable night dedicated to celebrating Cracknell's life and supporting Rainbows.
The charity rave starts at Ashby's Ciros Nightclub on April 19 and tickets cost £20. You can visit the rainbow website for more information.
