The artist returns to the festival this weekend and will perform on the Sahara stage
Kid Cudi is heading to the desert this weekend to headline the second weekend of Coachella 2024.
The festival made the announcement Tuesday afternoon, sharing an Instagram post with the updated two-weekend schedule and listing Kid Cudi at 5:10 to 5:50 p.m. on the Sahara scene. Teasing his performance, the post was captioned, “In pursuit of happiness.”
Kid Cudi last appeared at Coachella in 2019, closing his memorable performance with a tribute to Mac Miller and Nipsey Hussle, dedicating his performance of “Pursuit of Happiness” to both artists, who had passed away the previous year.
The “Man on the Moon” artist is set to embark on a world tour in support of his ninth studio album. Insano, and will kick off the North American leg on July 28 in Austin, Texas at the Moody Center. Pusha T will join him on the road for all dates, with Jaden and Earthgang appearing in select cities.
This year's Coachella was a year of A-list guests and last week, Olivia Rodrigo joined No Doubt, Will Smith appeared at J Balvin, Justin Bieber sang with Tems, Billie Eilish threw a last-minute party at stage of DoLab and Shakira announced a world tour on the set of Bizarrap.
