K-pop group SEVENTEEN finally released the full tracklist for their anticipated greatest hits album on Thursday (April 18), revealing that the 33-track 17 It's right here will not only feature some of their best-loved singles, but four new songs as well.
One of these fresh tracks, 'MAESTRO', will be the first single of the collection, followed by the hip-hop group's 'LALALI', the performance group's 'Spell' and the vocal group's 'Cheers to youth'. The album from the 13-piece South Korean band will be released on April 29.
In addition to helping compose all 20 singles previously released on the album, member Woozi also spearheaded the composition and writing of “MAESTRO,” “Spell,” and “Cheers to youth” and contributed lyrics to ” LALALI” with the four members of the hip-hop group: S. Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu and Vernon.
The first of the two-CD set contains the new songs and the Korean versions of the eight lead singles from previous Japanese releases, while the second disc contains the 20 lead singles from previous Korean releases.
The collection was first unveiled when the band played two stadium concerts at South Korea's Asiad Central Stadium in Incheon on the Follow Again tour on March 30-31. Soon after, a colorful animated teaser video created by artist Max Dalton (Grand Budapest Hotel) animated images from the band's previous releases were also recreated. A second 16-second video featured images of the group in dark clothing and futuristic environments separated into their hip-hop, performance and vocal sections. Three different versions of the collection will be available, titled “Here”, “Hear” and “Dear”.
The group – which also features Jeonghan, Jun, DK, Joshua, Hoshi, Dino, The8 and Seungkwan – also recently released a interactive website with a variety of photos, lyrics and other memorabilia for their CARAT fan group.
